The present invention relates to an environmentally friendly method for restoring a river ecosystem and purifying polluted river water using a dual operational multipurpose movable weir floodgate having a sludge deposit outlet functioning as a fishway to purify polluted river water flowing to a river by forming a fishway for ecosystem restoration and discharging polluted river water flowing to the river after purifying it; and to maintain a predetermined amount of river water by preventing river water from being completely discharged through the bottom water discharge passage of a floodgate during a dry season. |
