The gear wheel (1) has a one-piece disk (2) with an outer toothing (3) and a central recess. An inner profile (4) is formed in the recess, for rotationally fixed connection to a shaft, where the inner profile is introduced without cutting. The disk with the outer toothing and the central recess is formed as a fine punched part, and the inner profile is manufactured by rolling, where the surface of the outer toothing and/or the surface of the inner profile have roughness with an average depth between 0.9 and 2.0 micrometer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing the gear wheel (2) a differential gear box.
