PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the probability of notifying a sleeping person of wake-up with improper timing in an alarming apparatus that notifies the sleeping person of wake-up on the basis of a sleeping state of the sleeping person.SOLUTION: An alarming apparatus includes: a detecting section 25 for outputting a body movement signal by detecting the body movement of a sleeping person; a signal processing section 50 for extracting a judgment index and an auxiliary index from the body movement signal; and a notification section 55 for determining whether or not the sleeping person has entered rapid eye movement sleep on the basis of the judgment index and determining whether or not the sleeping person is sleeping deeply on the basis of the auxiliary index. The notifying section 55 outputs an operation command signal to a piezoelectric buzzer 36 in principle when determining that the sleeping person has entered the rapid eye movement sleep; however, even in such a case, the notifying section 55 prohibits the output of the operation command signal when determining that the sleeping person is sleeping deeply. |
