The present invention relates to a welfare financial account operating method in which a financial company server which is connected with a government institution terminal managing a welfare financial account through a communication network manages a welfare support fund which is paid to welfare recipients from a government institution which manages the welfare financial account. The welfare financial account operating method includes the following steps of: designating a welfare support fund management account which manages a welfare support fund as a main account and opening a welfare financial account which includes a filling type account enabling the welfare support fund to be deposited in the main account or to be withdrawn from the main account; confirming that a record type financial account which is opened in response to a government institution in the welfare financial account includes a record type account which stores the usage history of the welfare support fund which is paid from the government institution if a welfare support fund confirmation message is received from a server of the government institution and opening the recording type account in the welfare financial account if the recording type account is not included; depositing the welfare support fund which is deposited by the government institution in the main account by using the filling type account as a deposit account if the recording type account is opened in the welfare financial account; and generating support fund payment record information and storing the information in the support fund usage record of the recording type account by using the transaction record of the filling type account which includes the deposit record of the welfare support fund if the welfare support fund is deposited in the main account.
