An electronic device and a control method of the electronic device are disclosed. The electronic device according to an embodiment includes one or more sensors, a first processor for controlling the operation of the sensors, a second processor for controlling an application, and a vibrating unit sensing power applied by a user. The vibrating unit is woken up when the power applied by the user exceeds a predetermined size when the sensors, the first processor, the second processor, and the vibrating unit are in a sleep state. When the first processor is woken up by the vibrating unit, the first processor wakes up the second processor based on sensing data collected by the sensors. Accordingly, even unless a sensor for obtaining context awareness information and/or an operation state of the sensor are maintained to be woken up, the context awareness information can effectively be obtained by a low power property of the vibrating unit.
