PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize the area of a circuit board effectively and widely for signal processing when it is required to insulate the mating connector side and the electronic circuit on a circuit board electrically, with regard to a connector mounted on the circuit board and mating with the mating connector.SOLUTION: The connector is provided with an electronic circuit 25 including a photocoupler 252 that is connected with a first contact 22, coming into contact with a contact of a mating contact, and a second contact 23, being connected with a circuit board, directly or via other circuit element, and relays a signal by light while insulating the first contact 22 and second contact 23 electrically from each other. |
