PURPOSE: A construction method for continuous bridges using confined concrete is provided to prevent deformation in steel girders even by confining an upper flange of the girder. CONSTITUTION: A construction method for continuous bridges using confined concrete comprises following steps. A lower tension cable is inserted into a lower insertion hole of a steel girder (11), and pre-stress force is applied. Confined concrete (20) is placed into a plurality of steel girders (10). The steel girders in a positive and negative moment sections are supported and alternately connected. The pre-stress force is removed, and slab concrete (30) is placed into the upper part of the plurality of steel girders. |
