A system intended to intercept Mobile Terminated Short Message Service (MT SMS) at the mobile operator network before delivery, to provide text based mobile advertisement service. The system processes the MT SMS, selects for appropriate advertisement based on pre-configured advertisement selection rules and delivers the SMS along with the advertisement to the recipient mobile user. The system works on the protocols of Signaling System No. 7 (SS7) CAMEL Application Part (CAP) version 4 control triggers and Mobile Application Part (MAP) coupled with business logic to offer the service. |
