PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash voucher identification device which can be installed in a narrow space, and certainly and easily store or collect cash vouchers.SOLUTION: A cash voucher identification device 1 includes: an insertion port 3 provided in front of a housing, and accepting the insertion of a cash voucher; an identifying portion 4 provided on a rear stage in an inserting direction of the cash voucher, and identifying the inserted cash voucher; a carrying portion 5 for carrying the cash voucher identified by the identifying portion 4; a storing portion 6 for temporary storing the cash voucher carried by the carrying portion 5; a pressing portion 61 pressing the cash voucher carried to the storing portion 6 against a storage area of the storing portion 6; and discharge driving means 8 for discharging the storing portion 6 to the outside of a housing 2. The carrying portion 5 and the storing portion 6 are disposed on the same plane surface generally parallel with the inserting direction. Carrying driving means 9 for carrying the cash voucher by the carrying portion 4 and the discharge driving means 8 are disposed at positions generally vertical to the carrying portion 5, the storing portion 6, and the inserting direction. |
