PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the action of another electronic apparatus without allowing a user to perform an operation when an emergency broadcast is received.SOLUTION: A disaster prevention radio system for receiving emergency information such as an emergency broadcast and notifying a user of the information includes: a first radio receiver for receiving emergency information and outputting the sound of the emergency information; and a second radio receiver for outputting the sound of emergency information on the basis of the control of the first radio receiver. The first radio receiver generates and outputs a start signal for starting the second radio receiver when emergency information is received. The second radio receiver outputs the sound of emergency information on the basis of a start signal and also outputs a predetermined control signal for controlling the operation of an external electronic apparatus. When emergency information is received by the first radio receiver, the second radio receiver is started by a start signal from the first radio receiver, so that the second radio receiver controls the operation of an external electronic apparatus. Thus, the external electronic apparatus is easily operated. |
