PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve downsizing of a housing, cost reduction of a control board and sufficient cooling of the control board.SOLUTION: A clothing treatment apparatus includes: a housing tub 5; a housing 1 including the housing tub 5; a circulation duct 22 for circulating air inside the housing tub 5; a heat pump unit 51 including a compressor 41, a condenser 32 and an evaporator 30 for heating and cooling air; a water storage tank 36 for storing dehumidification water which is dehumidified at the heat pump unit 51; and a control unit 48 for controlling the housing tub 5 and the heat pump unit 51. The control unit 48 includes a control board 52 and a control board case 54 for accommodating the control board 52. The control unit 48 is installed at an upper corner part of the housing 1, and the control board 52 is fixed by being inclined with respect to the housing 1; thereby, a substantially triangular space at the upper corner part of the housing generated between the housing and the housing tub can be effectively utilized, and lint does not easily adhere when cooling the control board, so that the control board can be sufficiently cooled by a simple configuration. |
