PURPOSE:To monitor all signals while reducing signals to be compared with the expected value, by EOR several outputs of an LSI. CONSTITUTION:An LSI10 (101-103) are operated according to the output of an input pattern memory 1. The operation results of the LSI10 are outputted as output signal to be grouped into one signal per each LSI with an EOR logic 20 (201-203). The output of the EOR logic 20 is compared with the contents of a memory 2 for expected value patterns by a comparator 4 to check to see if the LSI10 works normally. Thus, since the outputs of the LSI10 are compared based on the results by EORing all of the outputs, this provides the same effect as obtained by total pin monitoring. As the outputs of the LSI10 are drawn as one signal EOR-converted totally, the number of signal lines can be reduced.
