The invention relates to a method for operating a powertrain of a motor vehicle, comprising two vehicle axles which can be driven by separate drive assemblies. At least one of the two vehicle axles can be driven by an electromotive drive assembly (20), and said at least one vehicle axle has two wheels (16a, 16b) and at least three axle portions (12a, 12b, 12c). A first axle portion (12a) has a first wheel (16a), and the first and a second axle portion (12a, 12b) are coupled by a differential gear (13). The second and a third axle portion (12b, 12c) are arranged so as to be connectable to each other by a clutch (10), and the third axle portion (12c) has a second wheel (16b). When the motor vehicle is operated with an open clutch (10), the electromotive drive assembly (20) is actively regulated at a standby speed (27) by an electric drive control unit (17), said standby speed (27) tracking a synchronization speed (28). |
