The device has a time delay circuit having a P-channel FET (T1) that is series switched with a positive terminal of a LED unit (LED). An integrated resistor-capacitor combination is actuated, and another P-channel FET switches a power resistor (R1) from a positive input (I) to the ground, where the latter P-channel FET is driven differentially by a differentiation unit. The differentiation unit is in series with a resistor that lies parallel to a gate terminal and a source of the transistor and a capacitor (C1). The capacitor leads from the gate terminal to a drain terminal of the transistor.
