PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shell type roller bearing that does not come off from a housing even in a case of receiving a trust force in an axial direction resulting from oil pressure difference.SOLUTION: A shell type roller bearing 11 includes: a shell type outer ring 12 having a cylindrical part 13 and a pair of flange parts 14 projecting to an inner diameter side from both ends of the cylindrical part 13 in an axial direction; a plurality of rollers 21 arranged between the pair of flange parts 14 and rolling on the inner diameter surface of the cylindrical part 13; and seal rings 41 arranged between one of the flange parts 14 and the bearings 21. The shell type outer ring 12 is formed so that the outer diameter of one side part of the axial direction and the outer diameter of the other side part of the axial direction are different from each other, and on the boundary between the different outer diameter parts, a step part 15 is provided. |
