<p>A ski shoe where the cavity for the foot has resilient linings around the ankle and along the sides of the foot and a thermoplastic pad beneath the insole lining, pref. with more of the resilient lining beneath that. The lining material must have an elastic point of >=4g/cm2 and a viscosity of 105-4 x 107 poise between -17 degrees C and +26 degrees C. This material is e.g. polybutadiene. The lining is to prevent damage to the sides of the feet of regular skiers by the stiff body of the shoe.</p> |
