The present invention relates to a pointing device for controlling a cursor in multiple monitors. The pointing device given in the present invention displays and controls a cursor one among multiple monitors and includes: a mouse which moves the cursor on the monitors, selects a monitor by radiating light to one of the monitors, identifies the monitor by receiving infrared rays from the selected monitor, and displays the cursor on the monitor to which the light is radiated; and a monitor identifier which is attached to each monitor, is granted with a unique identification code, detects the pointing by the mouse, sends the identification code through infrared communication to the mouse, and displays the cursor on the monitor.
