Disclosed is an air conditioner management system and a method for controlling an air conditioner. A user interface device is provided to detect the measure taken by a user which displays the user's intention to operate the air conditioner. The user interface device also creates feedback data concerning the detected measure taken by the user and transmits the feedback data. A central manager receives and stores the feedback data transmitted from the user interface device, and calculates a predetermined value for controlling the air conditioner based on the transmitted feedback data and the existing stored feedback data.
