PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction value derivation device capable of reducing a detection error in positional change of a measured body and improving detection accuracy.SOLUTION: A correction value derivation device for deriving a correction value used for correcting a displacement amount derived on the basis of an encoder signal indicative of positional change of a movable part as a measured body, includes: displacement amount derivation means for deriving a detection displacement amount of a movable part on the basis of an encoder signal; displacement speed derivation means for deriving a detected displacement speed on the basis of a detected displacement amount derived by the displacement amount derivation means; average displacement speed calculation means for calculating an average over a predetermined displacement range with respect to a detected displacement speed derived by the displacement speed derivation means to calculate an average displacement speed; and correction value derivation means for deriving a correction value on the basis of a detected displacement speed and an average displacement speed.
