PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel material utilizing Pickering emulsion.SOLUTION: There are provided a novel gel body, multi-hollow body and porous body which utilize Pickering emulsion, and a method of obtaining a gel body in which Pickering emulsion and water-soluble polymer are mixed, the water-soluble polymer is allowed to dissolve in a continuous phase, and the water-soluble polymer is gelled by crosslinking. In the obtained gel body, the continuous phase of Pickering emulsion is gelled, and an oil phase is immobilized. The multi-hollow body or the porous body is obtained by extracting oil from the obtained gel body or baking the obtained gel body. These new materials are stable and utilizable in wide fields. Since the materials utilize reaction friendly to living organisms, they are utilizable in the fields of medical, cosmetic, and biotechnology industries. |
