PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate with a water-repellent film which imposes little load on environment, possesses sufficient water repellency, excellent antiweatherability, and at the same time sufficient alkali resistance.SOLUTION: A substrate with a water-repellent film comprises a substrate and a water-repellent layer. The water-repellent layer comprises a middle layer and an outermost layer formed in this order from the substrate side on at least a part of a principal surface of the substrate. The middle layer is formed using a coating composition for the middle layer, which contains a silane compound (a) as a main component of a total solid, the compound (a) having a perfluoroalkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms and a group not having a perfluoroalkylene group as a linking group. The outermost layer is formed using a coating composition for the outermost layer, which contains a silane compound (b) in an amount of 70 mass% or more with respect to the total solid, the compound (b) having a perfluoropolyether group having a terminal perfluoroalkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms. |
