PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt fixing device capable of preventing breakage of a belt by preventing concentration of stress onto a root part of the belt even when misalignment occurs with respect to a pulley.SOLUTION: In the belt fixing device having a tooth surface-side plate 3 and a back-side plate 2 for holding and fixing an end of an open-ended toothed belt on which a plurality of tooth portions engaged with the pulley, are projected on one face of a belt body, from a tooth surface side and the back side opposite thereto with a prescribed compression amount, a compression amount of the toothed belt at a pulley-side end portion 2b side where the toothed belt is extended toward the pulley from between the tooth surface-side plate 3 and the back-side plate 2, is smaller than a compression amount of the inner side with respect to the pulley-side end portion 2b. |
