The invention concerns an assembly (30) of at least one thermo-electric element (4) that can generate an electrical current in response to a temperature gradient applied between two of the faces of same, called contact faces (3a, 3b), and an electrical connection means (20) intended to electrically connect said thermo-electric element (4) with another thermo-electric element (4), characterised by the fact that the assembly (30) comprises a substrate (40) disposed on at least one of the contact faces (3a, 3b), mechanically connecting the thermo-electric element (4) and the electrical connection means (20) and having a thermal expansion coefficient between that of the thermo-electric element (4) and that of the electrical connection means (20). The invention also concerns a thermo-electric module comprising such an assembly and a thermo-electric device comprising such a module.
