PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system capable of properly selecting an operation of higher energy efficiency from an operation for recovering exhaust heat from a power generating portion and an operation of an auxiliary heat source machine, when hot water/water is heated corresponding to heat demand.SOLUTION: In a cogeneration system C including control means 22 for comparing an energy efficiency estimated value &eegr;2 of an operation for recovering exhaust heat from a power generating portion 10 with an energy efficiency estimated value &eegr;1 of an operation of an auxiliary heat source machine 21, and selecting the operation of higher value, the control means 22 creates an auxiliary heat source machine operation result data to determine the past operation result of the auxiliary heat source machine 21 in each prescribed time zone, and increases the energy efficiency estimated value &eegr;1 of the operation of the auxiliary heat source machine 21 when the past operation result of the time zone when the auxiliary heat source machine 21 is operated, is high, in comparison with a case when the operation result is low. |
