PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head tank for filling which reduces a gas dissolved in a beverage when a container is filled with the beverage and prevents contamination by a thermal denaturation material with a simple structure and a simple method, and to provide a processing method of the beverage.SOLUTION: A head tank 1 for filling of this invention sends a beverage to a filling machine, which fills a container with the beverage, and includes: a head tank body 3 for storing the beverage; an inflow port part 11 for flowing the beverage into the head tank body 3; and an outflow port part 13 which is provided at a bottom part of the heat tank body 3 and is used for flowing the beverage in the head tank body 3 out to the filling machine. The inflow port part 11 causes the beverage to flow in along a circumferential direction of an inner wall surface of a trunk part 7 and generate revolving flow. This structure causes foam generated in the head tank body to be collected at a center part of a liquid surface of the beverage. Thus, the beverage flowing out from the outflow port part 13 is supplied to the filling machine in a state that a dissolved gas and foam rarely exist therein. |
