The present invention relates to a spacer for reinforcing bars. The spacer for preventing the separations of the reinforcing bars and for quickly and efficiently maintaining a distance between the reinforcing bars comprises: a maintaining unit maintaining the distance between the reinforcing bars arranged in an X- and a Y-direction, and electrically insulating the reinforcing bars; and a locking unit preventing the reinforcing bars coupled to the maintaining unit from being separated from the maintaining unit, wherein the maintaining unit includes: a maintaining unit body formed into a rectangular parallelepiped; an X-directional arrangement groove coupled with the reinforcing bar arranged at the lower side of the maintaining body in the X-direction; a Y-directional arrangement groove coupled with the reinforcing bar arranged at the upper side of the maintaining body in the Y-direction; inlets formed to easily couple the reinforcing bars to the X- and the Y-directional arrangement groove; and a locking unit groove formed at the central position of the maintaining body in the X-direction, having locking protrusions therein, and coupled with the locking unit, and the locking unit includes: a locking unit body having locking protrusions coupled to the locking groove of the maintaining unit; a Y-directional blocking plate formed to upwardly protrude from the front side of the locking unit body and blocking the inlet of the Y-directional arrangement groove; and an X-directional blocking plate formed to downwardly protrude from one side of the Y-directional blocking plate and blocking the inlet of the X-directional arrangement groove. |
