The present invention relates to a circular polarizing plate for a reflective liquid crystal display which includes a polarizing plate having a polarizing element in which an absorption axis has angle of 85°to 95°for an upper substrate side liquid crystal orientation direction of a liquid crystal cell. The circular polarizing plate for a reflective liquid crystal display includes a 1/4 wavelength plate in which an optical axis has an angle of 130°to 140°for the upper substrate side liquid crystal orientation direction of the liquid crystal cell. The 1/4 wavelength plate has reverse wavelength dispersibility.
