PURPOSE: A composition containing kurarinone or a Sophora Flavescens extract for preventing and treating dermatitis and cancer is provided to suppress cell activity which causes cancer and dermatitis including atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and contact dermatitis. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, or contact dermatitis contains kurarinone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating cancer contains kurarinone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, or contact dermatitis contains a Sophora Flavescens extract as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating cancer contains the extract as an active ingredient. The extract contains a compound selected from the group consisting of kurarinol, kurarinone, kushenol N, kushenol I, kushenol M, kuraridin, 8-lavandulylkaempferol, (2S)-2'-methoxykurarinone, sophoraflavanone G, trifolirhizin, (-)maackiain, variabilin, medicarpin, and sophoracarpan A. |
