PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of dimming more smoothly, and that is suitable for digital control.SOLUTION: A lighting device 1 lightening an LED 15 at a brightness depending on a light-control signal, comprises: a lighting circuit 10 including an inductor 14, a switching element 13, and a diode 12; and a control circuit 20 repeatedly outputting a burst that is a pulse train for turning on the switching element 13 at a constant cycle to control the switching element 13. The burst includes a first pulse for turning on the switching element 13 that has a pulse width of a first ON period, and a second pulse for turning on the switching element 13 that has a pulse width of a second ON period. The control circuit 20 controls the number of the first pulses, and the number of the second pulse or the pulse width of the second pulse included in one burst, depending on the light-control signal from exterior. |
