PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire introduction device by which an operator can more surely perceive a direction of the guide wire and simply perform guide wire introduction work in a short time.SOLUTION: The guide wire introduction device includes: a cylindrical body 2 having a first lumen that is opened at a distal end in the longitudinal direction and can penetrate through a guide wire 6, and a second lumen 5 in which an endoscope 7 can be inserted; a non-sharp distal end 3 that is provided at the distal end of the body 2 and cannot penetrate through the pericardium by just pressing; and a hook section 9 having a pointed end 9a that extends radially outward a lateral face of the body 2 at a proximal side with respect to the distal end 3 and can penetrate through the pericardium coming into contact from the lateral side. The hook part 9 and an opening 4a of the first lumen 4 at the distal end of the body 2 are disposed at the distal end side in the longitudinal axial direction of the second lumen 5. |
