PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge capable of securing bonding strength between an ink storage part and a prism unit and high in ink residual amount detection accuracy.SOLUTION: An ink cartridge includes an ink storage part having a partition wall for holding a volume for storing ink, and a prism unit including a bonded part bonded to the partition wall and a prism. In the prism unit, the bonded part and the prism are integrally formed, and a thin film including a material of the ink storage part is formed in the bonded part other than the prism. |
