PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus able to separate an LED head from an image carrier within an apparatus body by a simple operation without affecting space saving and size and thickness reductions of an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: When a handle part 43d of a lever member 43 is pulled in a pulling direction B and the lever member 43 is moved, the inclined engagement part 43j of each engagement arm 43c of the lever member 43 comes into contact with and slides over the internal edge 44m of each long engagement hole 44k of a holder 44. Consequently, the inclined engagement part 43j of each engagement arm 43c pulls down the holder 44 against the pressing force of each coil spring 45. As a result of this, an LED head 11 separates from the surface of a photoreceptor drum 13. |
