PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally seal envelopes of different sizes without waste.SOLUTION: There is provided a sealing device 1 for performing sealing by transferring an adhesive for a paste tape 80 to a flap 11a of an envelope 10 and adhering the flap 11a to an envelope body 11, wherein the sealing device 1 comprises: a paste unit 20 on which the paste tape 80 is mounted; a device body 30 having a unit attaching part 36 on which the paste unit 20 is detachably mounted; and a paste unit support mechanism 40 for supporting the paste unit 20 on which the unit attaching part 36 is mounted. The paste unit 80 comprises: a fixing block 91 mounted on the unit attaching part 36; a supply reel shaft 92 which is attached to the fixing block 91 and on which the paste tape 80 is mounted; a winding reel shaft 93; and a platen roller 94. Any one of the paste unit 20 of paste units, on which a paste tape corresponding to envelopes 10 of individually different sizes is mounted, is mounted on the device body 30. |
