PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a warning to a driver not to be performed erroneously during parking a car or the like.SOLUTION: When an attempt is made to park a vehicle A at a predetermined position within a parking lot by backing the vehicle, there is a high possibility that a wall, another vehicle, a guardrail, or any other stationary entity is present in a direction in which the vehicle A is moved. Therefore, in the vehicle A, warning a driver, on the basis of the fact that the stationary entity exists in the direction in which the vehicle A is moved, is inhibited. When another vehicle that passes nearby the parking lot approaches the vehicle A, warning the driver of the vehicle A, on the basis of the fact that the another vehicle or any other moving entity is approaching, is unnecessary. In this case, since the warning is inhibited, when the another vehicle that passes nearby the parking lot may approach the vehicle to be parked in the parking lot, the another vehicle is sensed as an approaching moving entity, even if the event is recognized as an object of warning, erroneously warning the driver on the basis of the recognition is inhibited. |
