PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine that can carry out articles even when a commercial power supply fails as well as can suppress deterioration and self-discharge of a battery to extend a battery life.SOLUTION: A vending machine comprises an article storage having a low-temperature storage part that stores articles at low temperature, an article carrying-out device that carries out articles in an article storage/feed path provided in the article storage, and a storage battery 33 that stores power used when a commercial power source fails. The storage battery 33 is arranged in the low-temperature storage part. Thus the vending machine can carry out articles even when the commercial power source A fails and can suppress deterioration and self-discharge of batteries such as the storage battery 33 to extend the battery life. |
