PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging optical system configured to prevent ghost light without reducing light utilization efficiency.SOLUTION: An imaging optical system includes: an incident plane having an optical axis parallel to an X-axis direction and having a plurality of incident optical planes formed along a Y-axis direction at a first pitch (incident optical plane pitch); an exit plane having an optical axis parallel to a Z-axis direction and having a plurality of exit optical planes formed along the Y-axis direction at a third pitch (exit optical plane pitch); and a prism plane having a plurality of grooves formed along the Y-axis direction at a second pitch (prism plane pitch), and folding an optical path of light via the incident plane toward the exit plane. The incident optical plane pitch is 0.8 mm, the exit optical plane pitch is 0.8 mm, and the prism plane pitch is 0.1 mm. Light utilization efficiency can be improved, while preventing ghost light. |
