PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a natural surround sound field of good sound volume balance, regardless of the position of a speaker arranged actually, in multi-channel surround reproduction environment.SOLUTION: Arrangement position information of an actual speaker is acquired. Based on the arrangement position information, target position of a virtual speaker corresponding to the actual speaker is set so that the virtual speaker is arranged in an ideal arrangement region of the actual speaker, or the vicinity thereof. The ideal arrangement region of the actual speaker is a region corresponding the arrangement position of the speaker during sound source creation. Based on the target position of the virtual speaker, arrangement of the virtual speaker is controlled. |
