PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus of a magnet piece which constitutes a magnet body for a field pole in which coating is prevented from being left uncut in splitting the magnet body.SOLUTION: Provided is a manufacturing apparatus of a magnet piece 31 which constitute a magnet body for a field pole 80 in which a magnet body 30 applied with coating 34 on an outer surface is split at a plurality of portions to be split, and the manufacturing apparatus is equipped with: forming means 51 for forming cuts 33 on one surface of the magnet body 30 along the portions to be split before splitting the magnet body 30; cutting means 61 for cutting the coating 34 by forming cuts 36 of a depth having thickness of the coating 34 or more on the other surface facing one surface of the magnet body 30 along the portions to be split before splitting the magnet body 30; and splitting means 43 for splitting the magnet body 30 arranged between two mounting tables 41, 42 by pressing the other surface of the portions to be split.
