PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer data rearranging raster image data to a head controller via a buffer memory by using an inexpensive memory device for the buffer memory.SOLUTION: A buffer memory 6 includes a memory device having a plurality of banks. A rearrangement circuit 1 rearranges raster image data to be data of a basic group corresponding to each nozzle position in a subscanning direction in a plurality of heads 9, and a write controller 3 writes the data of the basic group for heads 9 different from each other in banks different from each other in a single row address. The basic group is a group including an ink discharge nozzle for discharging ink for a given line of an image among ink discharge nozzles arrayed in a row along a main scanning direction for each of the plurality of heads 9. |
