PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take advantage of versatility of a squeegee 91 by reducing setup operations and maintenance operations.SOLUTION: A screen printing apparatus includes: a screen mask 1 which is detachably attached to a preset mask attachment area; a squeegee 91 which is arranged above the screen mask 1 attached to the mask attachment area and which reciprocates relative to the screen mask 1 along a Y-axis direction (squeegee movement direction); and scrape-off means 144 for coming into sliding contact with the squeegee 91 during stop of printing to scrape off a coating material adhering to the squeegee 91.
