PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pump of which a discharge amount is changed with a rotation of a reference line connecting between the center of an inner rotor and the center of an outer rotor, according to low-rotation state and high-rotation state of the rotors, and which is improved in pump efficiency.SOLUTION: An oil pump includes a pump housing 1 having a second partition part 15 formed between a terminal part 13b of a discharge port 13 and a beginning part 12a of a suction port 12, the second partition part 15 having a width dimension equal to or somewhat greater than a formation range of an interdental space S which is formed by an inner rotor 2 and an outer rotor 3 passing therethrough during low-rotation. At the terminal part 13b of the discharge port 13 and from near an inner diameter side 13i thereof, a protruded face part 6 is formed which is flush and continuous with the second partition part 15. A range between the protruded face part 6 and the second partition part 15 is equal to or somewhat greater than the formation range of the interdental space S passing through the protruded face part 6 and the second partition part 15 during high-rotation. |
