PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device capable of reducing a breakage of a shaft part, an image display unit, and a method of manufacturing the optical device.SOLUTION: The optical device includes a movable part 11 having a base 111 and a reflector 113 that is disposed via a spacer 112 disposed on a first surface of the base 111 and has a reflection plane 114 for reflecting light, shaft parts 12a and 12b for supporting the movable part 11 oscillatably about a first shaft, a frame body part 13 oscillatable about a second shaft crossing the first shaft, and a permanent magnet 21A disposed in the frame body part 13. The base 111 is connected to the frame body part 13 via the shaft parts 12a and 12b, and projections 131A and 131B are disposed on a second surface on the opposite side to the first surface of the base 111. |
