PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device assembly in which a light-emitting device can be small-sized and the cost thereof can be reduced, and an illumination device which can be obtained from the light-emitting device assembly.SOLUTION: In a light-emitting device assembly 1 comprising a plurality of light-emitting devices 10, each of the light-emitting devices 10 comprises: a circuit board 4 which includes a pair of external electrodes 5 connected to an external power source and to which power from the power source is supplied via the external electrodes 5; a light-emitting diode element 2 which is supported on the circuit board 4 and electrically connected to the circuit board 4; and a sealing layer 3 which seals the light-emitting diode element 2 on the circuit board 4. The plurality of light-emitting devices 10 are disposed to be continued in one direction, and the sealing layers 3 are disposed in such a manner that the sealing layers 3 of the light-emitting devices 10 neighboring to each other are brought into contact with each other in a planar view. Furthermore, an illumination device comprises at least one light-emitting device 10 of the light-emitting device assembly 1.
