摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high energy ion beam stably by using a laser-driven acceleration mechanism.SOLUTION: Laser light 20 is emitted from a laser light source and makes clusters or gas molecules in cluster gas (target) 30 into plasma. The laser light 20 is thereby configured to be condensed in the cluster gas 30, or in the vicinity thereof. The cluster gas 30 has such a form that COclusters 32, where a large number of COmolecules have aggregated as nano particles, are dispersed into a gas composed of Hmolecules 31. The optimum position of focal point for obtaining a high energy anode beam is a position of 10-150% front side as seen from the center of a nozzle 40. Preferably, the laser light 20 is irradiated in a period of initial 10-20% of a period after the nozzle 40 is turned on before it is turned off.
