The method involves fixing a wedging device (40) on a contour of a groove (2) of a structure of a vehicle or opening frame to receive a glazing pane (1). The glazing pane is plated against the wedging device until the cord is hardened, where the wedging device includes a suction pad (5) arranged on a contour of the groove to receive the glazing pane. The suction pad is intended to retain the glazing pane as soon as the pane is affixed on the groove.
