PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program that allows re-reading of a bar code or an operation by a manual input of a code number to be facilitated in a portable information terminal when a bar code reading mistake occurs.SOLUTION: The program to be installed into a portable information terminal attached with a camera is configured to make the portable information terminal with the camera: read a bar code allocated to a commercial article through a camera of the portable information terminal attached with the camera to thereby recognize a code number corresponding to the bar code; perform a procedure (a) that displays the recognized code number on a display part; perform a procedure (b) that changes the code number displayed in the procedure (a) on the basis of data input by a user; and perform means (c) that transmits the code number displayed on the display part to a server on the basis of an instruction of the user.
