The present invention realizes a "macro-assisted cell" that is capable of taking a flexible form of application. This mobile station (UE) is configured such that, in a case where a "discovery signal" sequence is determined to be a sequence for a "stand-alone cell", a controller (22) starts communications for a small cell on the basis of the MIB/SIB for that small cell, and such that, in a case where the "discovery signal" sequence is determined to be a sequence for a "macro-assisted cell", the controller (22) starts communications for the small cell on the basis of a control signal from a macro cell. |
