PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation structure for a residential building capable of easily achieving base isolation of the residential building with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A base isolation structure of a residential building comprises: a sill foundation 12 constructed on the ground; the residential building 10 arranged above the sill foundation 12; an isolation member 14 which is arranged between the sill foundation 12 and the residential building 10 with the building unit 10 placed thereon, blocks transmission of earthquake force from the sill foundation 12 to the residential building 10 while achieving a non-contact state between the sill foundation 12 and the residential building 10 and is provided with a coating material on a contact surface with the residential building 10; and a restoration material 16 which is arranged on the sill foundation 12 and connected to the residential building 10. |
