PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open/close cover lock mechanism capable of preventing unbalanced closing of an open/close cover, and an image forming device.SOLUTION: In an open/close cover lock mechanism 20, when an open/close cover is closed to a device body, a pair of hook portions 40 provided on a rotation shaft 30 integrally rotates around the rotation shaft 30, and climbs over a pair of locking portions 23 to be locked to the locking portions 23, thereby locking the open/close cover. The open/close cover lock mechanism 20 includes sliding means 50 for sliding the rotation shaft 30 in an axial direction with rotations of the rotation shaft 30; and a slide regulating portion 24 abutting on at least either one of the pair of the hook portions 40 in the axial direction to regulate sliding, when the pair of the hook portions 40 moves forward/backward on a front side of the pair of the locking portions 23. |
