<p>The present invention improves the usability of a screen printing machine for alternately performing printing using a pair of squeegees. A photoelectric sensor (140) is provided between a pair of squeegees (130) and is moved in an integrated manner with respect to a mask (32). Prior to beginning printing after completion of printing preparation or after interruption of printing, the pair of squeegees (130) is moved from a solder detection starting position towards the front. During this time, the photoelectric sensor (140) projects light toward the mask (32) and if solder (142) is present, outputs an ON signal. On the basis of the position of the solder (142) on the mask (32), the squeegee (130) to perform printing first is determined. Regardless of whether the solder (142) is on the front or the back side of the mask (32) at the beginning of printing, the squeegee (130) corresponding to said position moves the solder (142) and the occurrence of empty printing is avoided. When there is no solder (142) on the mask (32) or if present, when the position and/or the amount thereof is inappropriate, the machine makes a report and waits for the worker's handling thereof.</p> |
